Teaching

Our teaching activities include classes for students and the training of non-medical staff. Instruction for medical students extends over all levels of training. In the introductory course we offer an optional period of practical training. Here we are committed to problem-orientated teaching. Our lectures are conforming to a curriculum centred on the theme of wound healing/wound care/reconstructive surgery, which extends throughout all years of medical study. These subjects also form the content of two tutorial modules that can be visited on the Internet:

Other subjects are wound infection and burns. One final-year medical student is on rotation as a practical trainee in our department, and each year one or more doctoral and master theses are completed in our department.
